MIDTERMS (12/14 - 12/18)
The Romantics are my MOST FAVORITE group that we study! I am inspired by their optimism for every situation and their wisdom at how to find my purpose and value of life.
Two very important concepts we will study with this unit are Theme and Inference. The Romantics desired to look past the practicality of nature and search out the lessons nature can teach us. A simple definition of a theme is a lesson. We will look at the Romantic's texts and become skilled not only in identifying the theme, but also sufficiently explaining the theme with textual references. In the Romanticism we will cover:
